Musalaha, which means “Reconciliation” in Arabic, was founded in 1990. Since its creation, an executive board of Palestinian and Israeli community and church leaders has led this ministry of reconciliation in taking steps towards unity in our society.

OUR MISSION

Musalaha is a non-profit organization that promotes and facilitates reconciliation between Israelis and Palestinians from diverse ethnic and religious backgrounds.  For those who have a common faith, we advocate and facilitate reconciliation encounters among Israeli and Palestinian believers based on the life and teaching of Jesus. Within the wider community, we seek to impact our societies through building bridges among Muslims, Christians, and Jews according to Abrahamic moral principles contained in all three faiths.

RECONCILIATION STORIES

“Regardless of the history we read, or the history we know from our own people and families, we must learn to listen to each other. We must hear each other’s pain. Our perception of what happened is often just as influential as the truth of what happened. Through listening to one another and hearing each other’s stories, we can minimize the gap between what we think and what we know.”
