Bridgebuilders:
Muslim-Christian Encounter
Within the last three years, we have broadened our work and recently doors opened to engage in and provide joint Muslim-Christian venues. Our bridge builders program offers inter-faith desert encounters, seminars and overseas conferences. Through our bridge builders initiative we facilitate dialogue between those of inter-religious faiths to promote a better understanding and reconciliation among these communities. We aim at empowering community leaders to initiate reconciliation within their communities and function as conflict mediators.
Sports
Our sports department, which is also a part of our bridge builders department aims at bringing Israeli and Palestinian youth, primarily girls, who are Jewish, Muslim and Christian together to engage in athletics. They come together on common ground with a common interest through the competitive realm of basketball, swimming, hockey, soccer and team building skills. The sports camp has laid the foundation for reaching out to the communities as they become familiar with the work of Musalaha.
